Getting Started with QuickDraw
Initial Setup
- Download and Install: Install QuickDraw from your app store (iOS or Android)
- Grant Microphone Permission: The app requires microphone access to detect shots
- Calibrate Sensitivity: Run the "Test Mode" to set appropriate sensitivity for your environment
- Start Training: Choose a drill or timer mode and begin your practice session
Calibration Tips
- Indoor Range: Higher sensitivity may be needed due to controlled acoustics
- Outdoor Range: Lower sensitivity helps filter wind and ambient noise
- Dry Fire: Adjust based on snap cap or dummy round sound levels
First Session
- Select a drill from the Basic Drill Library (e.g., Bill Drill)
- Position your device safely near your shooting position
- Wait for the "Standby... Beep!" signal
- Complete your drill
- Review your split times and session summary
