What is PinNote?

PinNote is a Chrome extension for creating, formatting, pinning, and organizing sticky notes directly in your browser.

Where are my notes stored?

Notes are stored locally by default using browser storage. You can enable Chrome Sync in settings to sync across your signed-in Chrome browsers.

Do you track my data or browsing?

No. PinNote does not track your browsing activity or sell your data. See Policy for details.

How do I install from source?

• Open chrome://extensions → Enable Developer mode → Load unpacked → Select the repository folder.

My notes went off-screen. How do I recover them?

• Use the reset button in the note header or the “Reset Positions” button in the popup or settings.

Can I back up my notes?

Yes. Use Export/Import to back up and restore note data.

What if I switch devices?

Enable Chrome Sync in settings to keep notes in sync across your signed-in browsers.
