We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how PinNote handles your information.

🔒 1. Data We Collect

PinNote is designed with privacy first.

We do not collect, share, or sell any personal data.

The extension only stores:

• Notes Data: Text, formatting, and tables you create in PinNote.
• User Settings: Preferences such as pinned state, colors, and font choices.

No browsing history, page content, or external personal information is collected.

📂 2. Where Your Data Is Stored

• Local Storage: Notes and settings are stored locally on your device by default.
• Chrome Sync (Optional): If enabled, your notes can sync across devices signed into your Google account. Google’s Privacy Policy applies to data stored via Chrome Sync.
• No External Servers: PinNote does not transmit your data to Aperca LLC servers or third parties.

📢 3. How We Use Permissions

PinNote requires limited Chrome permissions:

• storage: To save notes, settings, and formatting locally or via Chrome Sync.
• activeTab: To allow pinned notes to persist on the current tab.

We only use these permissions for the purposes described above.

🛡️ 4. Data Security

• Notes and settings remain on your device or within Chrome Sync.
• We do not monetize or share your data.

🗑️ 5. Data Retention & Deletion

• Notes remain until you delete them.
• You may clear all data at any time in PinNote settings.
• Uninstalling PinNote removes all locally stored notes.

👤 6. Third-Party Services

PinNote does not use analytics, ads, or third-party tracking.

The only third-party service involved is Google Chrome Sync, if you enable it.
