Does turning the switch off stop tracking?

No. The switch disables blocking only. Tracking continues so your reports stay accurate.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored in your browser’s extension storage. You can choose Local (device-only) or Sync (roams with your profile). We don’t receive your data.

Do you collect my browsing history?

No. We do not send your data to our servers.

How accurate is the time tracking?

We record active tab time and pause when your computer is idle or locked. If a tab is in the background or the browser is minimized, it typically doesn’t count.

Can I keep history forever?

Yes. History is kept indefinitely until you click Clear Usage in the popup.

Why does a blocked page still appear briefly?

On some navigations, the redirect may happen after the initial request. We also apply rules proactively, but a brief flash can occur in edge cases.

Will this work on all sites?

We use Chrome/Edge APIs to block at the network layer (DeclarativeNetRequest) and fall back when needed. Some internal pages (e.g., chrome://) are excluded by the browser.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Use Export CSV in the popup.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Troubleshooting

• If charts look empty, keep the extension running for a bit; data accumulates as you browse.
• If you just installed, give it a few minutes of browsing for trends to appear.
• If you changed timezones or DST, the app uses local dates and should align automatically.
• If usage seems off, ensure you haven’t cleared history and that idle detection is enabled in the browser.
