Clipboard+ Browser Extension – Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Clipboard+ Browser Extension ("Extension") provided by Aperca LLC.

1. Information We Collect
We do NOT collect any personal information or data from users. Clipboard+:
• Stores clipboard items, snippets, and settings locally in your browser
• Can optionally use Chrome Sync to sync data across your signed-in devices (if you enable it)
• Does NOT transmit clipboard contents to our servers
• Does NOT use third-party analytics or trackers

2. How We Use Information
All processing happens locally on your device:
• Save and display your clipboard history and favorites
• Manage and expand text snippets via shortcuts
• Maintain your preferences, folders, and limits
• Optional sync uses your browser’s built-in sync only

3. Data Storage & Control
• Local-only by default; optional Chrome Sync if enabled by you
• Clear data anytime from the extension settings
• Uninstalling the extension removes all local data

4. Permissions
• Clipboard access: Read/write clipboard to capture and re-copy items
• Storage: Save history, snippets, and settings locally or via Chrome Sync
• Optional commands/hotkeys: Enable global shortcuts for faster access

5. Security
• Data remains on your device or within your browser’s encrypted sync
• No external servers, databases, or trackers are used
