Welcome to MarkUpShot, your comprehensive screenshot and annotation tool!
Installation
- Install the Extension
- Visit the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons.
- Search for "MarkUpShot" or visit our extension page
- Click "Add to Browser" or "Install"
- Confirm the installation when prompted
- First Launch
- Click the MarkUpShot icon in your browser toolbar
- The extension will open with capture options ready
- Grant any requested permissions for optimal functionality
- Basic Usage
- Full Page Screenshot: Captures the entire webpage by auto-scrolling
- Select Area: Drag a rectangle to capture just what you need
- Import Image: Open JPG/PNG files from your computer for editing
- Gallery: Browse and manage previously saved images
Quick Start Guide
- Click the MarkUpShot icon to open the extension
- Choose your capture method (Full Page or Select Area)
- For Select Area, drag to select the region you want to capture
- The editor will open with your screenshot ready for annotation
- Use the toolbar to add arrows, shapes, text, or crop/resize
- Save to your computer, copy to clipboard, or store in gallery
Tips for Best Results
- Ensure the webpage is fully loaded before taking full-page screenshots
- Use the Select Area tool for capturing specific sections efficiently
- The gallery feature keeps your screenshots organized within the extension
